    Default Abundant Harvest

I came home from college this weekend. In my garden I found a huge crop of tomatoes, zuchini, cucumbers and winter squash waiting for me. Gardening is such a joy. Here's a picture of some of the goodies that didn't get devoured immediately .

Toatally agree w you rawstrength, an abundant garden is a joy! Not only watching the plants grow over time, but using fresh picked own growns - you can't get any fresher than that! ~ Cathy

    Your tomatoes look beautiful!

I'm looking forward to getting some tomatoes from my garden too. I found out recently that in Arizona we have two growing seasons, spring and fall because summer is too hot for most plants.

Sweet! I didn't have a very good tomato crop this year, so I'm jealous. Last year's crop was out of sight. I want THAT again.

I didn't do anything exciting with the tomatoes. I cut them up, sprinkled them with olive oil, basil and salt, and ate a huge bowl of them over a few days. Simple, but so good!
