Default Growing a Mung Beans Plant Indoors - Pictures!

I was sprouting some mung beans...

    1 day:

... and decided to let them grow for about a week. They had tiny leaves and roots on them. I planted three of them in a small pot and put it by my north facing window. They do not get any direct sunlight.

    2 weeks:

These things are like little radars following the sun, lol. The precision is incredible!

They grew for another week. The lower foliage looks to be withering...

    3 weeks:

Continues into next post (exceeded picture limit)...

    Default Continuation of first post...

The upper foliage is healthy and glowing. If you look closely you'll see new leaves beginning to form between the stems and the foliage...

A closer look shows a new leaf bud forming along the stem...

...and it all started with just 3 beans...

Thanks for reading. I'll continue to add pictures as the plant grows.

when i see roots coming out of the bottom i'll step it up a size. right now it's going good. what i might think about is getting a pole, but for now i want them free standing so the stem can build some strength.

    update:
last night i pruned the bottom foliage on all plants. i figure this will allow nutrients to better get to the more healthy foliage and improve growth.
