Can anyone offer some tips on sprouting buckwheat successfully? I've learned some tips and tricks for sprouting that seem to be working fine for everything but that darn buckwheat. I still have a problem with it stinking after a day or two. I rinse and rinse, get all the floaters out and still, I get this stinky stuff!

My wheatberries did beautifully, but the buckwheat didn't. I notice that after soaking it, it produces a slimy, gelly subtance similar to what flax does, though not as thick or as much and upon rinsing it, I can't seem to get all of that "gelly" off. So, I can only assume that because it's still sitting in an excessive amount of moisture, it gets that spoilage (if that's what is happening).

So, can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong and how I can correct this? Otherwise, I may just have to settle for soaking it overnight and using it (like I do with flax)

Thanks
