Default Is there a basic/beginner recipe for cats?

I've been doing a lot of reading concerning raw diets. I am very new to this so I am kinda leaning towards the pre-mix powders that just require the addition of meat. I've located one food that is dehydrated but it contains a lot of veggies and fruits that I was told to avoid. I think they add a lot of that stuff for cheap filler that cats don't really need. I have a multi cat household so I am trying to figure out if this new diet will be something I can actually afford to do. Some of the raw cat recipes have a long list of supplements that must be added. Is there maybe a all in one powder supplement made specifcally for raw cat diets?

Missing Link is a multi vitamin, or there's Urban King (though this one may be Canadian). In reality, meat, bones and organs in good variety of protein sources are all they need, though.

I was going to post this as a seperate post but maybe it will be answered here.

Shuu - thank you for your reply. The Urban King dog formula looks good but the cat one seems to have a lot of filler - fruits and vegetables. Plus, I was told not to feed cats(not sure about dogs)tomato or tomato products.

I am on a VERY limited budget and we have a multi pet household. After learning about all the junk in the commercial pet foods I would prefer to make my own. Most of the raw recipes I've seen have a long list of supplements that must be added. The total cost of all the supplements isn't much cheaper than the pre-mixes that you buy and just add your own meat to. I was wondering if all these supplements were really needed? I can't get organic/hormone free meat in my area. So maybe the supplements are required to make up for the fact that the meat isn't exactly the same as fresh kill???? I am hoping that I can do this for my pets so I am trying to find a way to work this into my limited budget and still give them something that is healthy.
