Default New to juicing...have a question

I am getting a juicer this weekend. I've been holding off because it seems like it takes soooo much fruit to make one glass.
Can you give me an idea just how much you all go through in a day/meal of juicing?

I have a Juicer but I don't use it that much. I either eat the Whole Food or let the Vita-Mix juice the still Whole Food.

I use mine mainly to juice greens. And sometimes fruit if I've gotten a great price on it.

depends on how much you are drinking and what you are juicing.

watermelon (with the rind) gives you a lot of juice.
pineapple with some spirulina and/or wheatgrass is super yummy and healthy.
tomato with cilantro and spices (like cayenne, curry, kelp and paprika) is amazing and great for your skin.

I make a lot of juice in my vitamix then strain thru a nut milk or paint strainer bag. I drink juice on a daily basis and the vitamix is just much easier. Yesterday I had blueberry peach juice. I put blueberrie and peaches in vitamix with just a touch of water blend for about 10-15 sec and pour thru strainer bag. Yummy. I make green juices as well. The vitamix yeilds more juice for me than my greenstar and is much, much faster. Best of luck!!!

Tell me about the strainer bags please?
I have a vitamix and love it, but sometimes it is a bit too thick and foamy for drinking.
I've been wondering if I need to get a juicer too as well, and which kind I should if I do. Especially since green juicing seems to be a major key. I also see recipes that calls for using a juicer, the "s-blade" whatever that is so I don't try them.
