    Default anyone with a greenstar know???

    Does anyone with a greenstar know if you have to remove the cherry pit before juicing it???

    I would! I have a greenstar and wouldn't put anything hard in there that's larger than the distance between blades in the gears. I have ground nuts and wheat but those are so much softer...you might try calling them? If you don't have your manual anymore I'm sure you can find a contact online...

    cherry pits are hard... i wouldn't put them in. but i don't know for sure.

    I don't like my greenstar. If it didn't cost so much, I would give it away.

    Unlike a seed a cherry pit is very hard and I think this would damage the juicer. So don't put it in. I also don't like my Greenstar.

    Thanks everyone!! Cherry pits are very time consuming . Guess I wont be juicing them much. I will just opt for eating them. Why do so many not like their greenstar??? I love mine. It makes great juice.

    I can not say that I love mine because there is a lot of work in cleaning it but I would not exchange it for anything else.
    I am aware from the independant research that the quality of the juice is better and that makes the extra effort worthwhile.
