    Default Hair

    Where is everybody?

Have you found that this diet has kept grey hairs at bay? I hardly have any and have noticed that my (previously) naturally strawberry blond hair is coming in again, whereas in recent years it seemed to be growing in rather dark. Has this happened to anyone else? I also don't use shampoo anymore thanks to what I learned on this site and hair is a lot less dry.

Yeah, wheat grass juice in particular has been documented to restart the color growing back into hair. Takes about six ounces a day, from what I understand.

Dang, I want my gray to go away, but I don't know if I want it that bad. . .6 oz. is a lot to get down. I was having problems with 1/2 oz.

Something to strive for, I guess.

Default I've noticed that around the front black hair is growing in....

    Around the temple area:)
I don't like gray hair and i'm overjoyed to see it changing badk.
I planted some wheatgrass in a planter pot and i pull sprigs from it several times a day and chew on it.
It tastes better that way, i don't think i'm doing anywhere near 3 oz. but i like it better than drinking it straight for now.
    Hope that helps.

Hmmm I don't drink wheatgrass but I was eating parsely daily for months. Could that be it?

Default I am loving my grey......

Purposely I stopped coloring it medium reddish brown a couple of months ago and just had some highlights or streaks (whatever) put in. Last week I simply had it cut again without adding any color and I love it. The grey is in just the right places and it softens my face - actually looks a bit elegant - and guess what ladies? I have earned every one of those little grey suckers. I'm so loving raw - it makes my face look good despite the grey - it's all going together nicely. Something to think about. (And if I get my dark hair back - one more plug for raw!) I am 62.

Default wish I could make me love gray

Today I turn 53 -- I am the baby of 6 kids and have the most gray. Somehow that doesn't seem right.

Marin Mom makes me want to start growing more parsley. I think I will dedicate a spot in my garden to just that!

islesgirl -- I'm trying to like gray! Infact, today on my way into town I actuallly apologized to God for not being happy with the gray He gave me. My husband loves it -- claims it is all sparkley -- strange man that chose to love me. Think I will keep him!

Okay -- new mindset -- gray is good, gray is good, gray is good. And can "actually look a bit elegant" ----- I'll work on it! ;)
BDraw -- taking one baby step at a time!

I love parsley so maybe I need start increasing my intake so I don't have to think and dye grey hair to restore it back to brown--my natural.

Smile I did look up parsley for the hair and it does do something for the hair...

It didn't mention anything about restoring color but i believe it does and i will add it to my smoothies, salads and eat it by itself.
Thanks for telling us about it

I bet that was it, I saw an episode of "You are What You Eat" with Gillian McKeith and she said that, "Parsely is a natural multivitamin".

How much a day do you think you were eating?

    Default Oops! Sorry!

Duh. I just started on a new thread on this very topic. Guess I should have searched "grey hair" first.
