Cellulite!
Has anyone been raw long enough or know of any studies or others to tell me if it makes cellulite go away? I know you still have to exercise, but i am just wondering if it can actually almost disappear. And while i am at it, how about varicose veins??

Hi Corky,
Shazzie (shazzie.com) says she lost all her cellulite, and I lost some of it due to weight loss. I think that's part of it. There is no scientific proof for what I'm about to say, but I think that there is more to cellulite than just your percentage of body fat. I believe that our bodies hold and store toxins in any way they can to keep them from circulating in the body, and cellulite may be one of those places. All those cellulite reform programs include water, water, water, eating right, exercising, and local massage. There must be something to all that! Not that I believe in every gimmick that comes around, but I have seen results from doing the above.
A totally cellulite-free body - ah, what a dream that is for me! LOL

My thighs and rear USED to be dimple-city! But as Vegbaby (WELCOME btw!) said, I lost most of mine due to weight-loss and once my diet changed (even to some raw and little cooked) I notice that I have NO cellulite! Now, stretchmarks are a whole other story!

Cellulite does go away on this way of eating. I use to be 182# with lots of cellulite years ago. Nothing worked to get it all gone until I found the raw way of life. You will be shocked to see it just melt off your body.

You might also want to try dry skin brushing every morning. Using a vegetable bristle brush, brush the body always brushing toward the heart. Start with the feet and work your way up the legs with long strokes. On the abdomen, brush in counter clock-wise circles. Place arms in the air, and brush downward toward the heart. Do the entire body, but avoid the breasts, neck and face. Then take a warm shower. It's invigorating. The raw food diet and dry skin brushing have helped my cellulite a lot.
