    Default Review - Café Gratitude...PICTURES!

    Sorry it took so long!

I went to Berkeley over spring break, and spent nearly my entire time there at Café Gratitude. The food defied description - everything tasted amazingly fresh, even the dehydrated stuff, and the atmosphere/energy was fantastic.

Here are some pictures (in no particular order) I took a lot more, but some didn't come out very well. Enjoy!

    The Mahalo (sp?) Pizza

Their amazing inspirational posters. This one was my favourite.

The chocolate hazelnut pie - my favourite of their desserts

The key lime pie - my mother's favourite

    Coconut creme pie

The fantastic enchilada. They have a different filling every day, and luckily for me today's wasn't spicy.

    One of their salads

Hazelnut chocolate cake. The cream was the best part - the nut flour cake part was a bit too heavy for me.

Just thought I'd squeeze one or two of me in there - Muir Woods was beautiful!

The Pad Thai - AMAZING. One of the best things I've ever eaten

Another one of their pizzas...I forget which one.

Last batch! Thanks for the patience :)

The hazelnut creme pie again, this time with "ice cream"

    The sunburger - fantastic!

The exterior of the Berkeley location. I also visited one of the ones in San Francisco. Both were beautiful, but in different ways. The Berkeley one was much more like an underground haven, perfect for dinner, whereas the SanFran one was beautiful and airy and open, perfect for breakfast or lunch.

Wow! Your pictures are fanastic. I have only been to the original San Fran location - I would love to go to the Berkeley one.

I had a strawberry cream pie of the day last time I was there and it was great!

I love the cheese and cracker plate. I just got the recipe book and I am working on making the peperjack cheese and almond toast. :)

Wow, I can't wait to get there. With some luck, I may get to travel to the bay area for work in June or July. If I do, I'll post and see if we can get a meetup!
