    Default I Love Juicing!

I just got my first juicer... It's Jack LaLanne's... It's not the juicer I dream of, but we are moving (and have literally have to buy all furniture since it's our first real apartment.. ) so even finding $100 in the budget has been a struggle! I've been waiting and waiting, and decided to stop waiting and go ahead and get what I can afford so I would have SOMETHING until Christmas when I can get myself something more.

Anyways, I always hear about juice feasting, and am like how do people DO that? Juice makes me hungry!

I haven't had real juice, obviously! Now, with my juicer, we've tried a couple things, and it's SO delicious, energizing, and FILLING, and EASY to make. I am in love!!!!

    That's all

I know! It's so thick and delicious! Way better than the sugared up stuff that I used to drink from the store. I can't wait to try all the different combinations that everyone has shared.

I'm liking the cold juices right night. Cucumber w/ green apples and handful of grapes is delicious. I made orange, 2 green apples, and a cucumber this morning. Yummy! Watermelon is also good. I also try vegetables w/some sort of fruit to sweeten and it's not too bad. Good way to get my veggies. Enjoy!:)

Avanderland, I have the Jack LaLanne juicer too and I love it. This is actually the third juicer I have owned and it is the best one I've had. I don't have to spend a lot of time cutting my fruits and veggies into little pieces to juice because the mouth is large, the juice is delicious and the juicer is easier to clean than any juicer I have had. I am definitely a fan of Jack's products. I also have the Jack LaLanne Health Master 100 and it's great too for smoothies. I wish you much luck with your juicer!

Hey, I have a Healthmaster 100 too--as do a few others around here. I don't want to hijack this thread too much, but how long have you had yours and are you experiencing any leakage of the carafe yet? I've had mine for about 4 months and although it's great for smoothies and juicing, it's starting to show signs of leaking at the bottom of the pitcher.

It's good to hear people speak well of it who have more knowledge of juicers than I do, so good to know!!! I also like that it's easy to stick large pieces in --- and that it's SO EASY to clean up. I've heard of such difficulties with cleaning some juicers, and I KNEW that if I had a difficult to clean juicer, it would just NOT be happening, because dishes is my least favorite chore!!!

I have had my Healthmaster 100 for almost 8 months and I use it almost daily - sometimes two or 3 times daily and I have not had any problems whatsoever. Have you ever dropped it or maybe bumped it up against some hard surface that may have maybe punctured a tiny hole in it that you can't see? I would call their customer service right away and let them know what is going on with your pitcher. I'm sorry that happened to you. Good luck.

    Thumbs up

I have both the Jack Lalanne juicer and the Healthmaster, and I am very happy with both of them. I use them almost daily and I have never had a problem with them. I always hand wash them - don't put them in the dishwasher. I also store the Healthmaster jar on it's side, so no water can pool and rust the blender mechanism. I've had my juicer for about three years and my Healthmaster over a year. They were what I could afford at the time and they have served their purpose very well!! Glad you're happy with yours and glad to hear you're using it (and it's not sitting on a shelf!!);)

I love both the juicer and the Healthmaster 100. They are both so easy to use and clean that my problem has been keeping my kid's little paws off 'em.
I guess I shouldn't complain - it's better than having them eat junk. It has been a blessing since they are on summer vacation and home all day. They love the smoothies!
