    Smile Wheatgrass juice

I would love to start drinking wheatgrass juice. I had a 1 ounce shot today at the HF store. (I think it would taste better with a little lemon and/or ginger in it.) The cost for 1 ounce was $2.99. Does that sound reasonable? That's the first one I've ever bought so I really don't know. I'm wondering if it would be worth it to buy a manual wheatgrass juicer. Also, they sell trays of wheatgrass there, not sure of the price though. I'm wondering what all you other raw foodists do.
    *Do you drink wheatgrass shots?
*Do you buy it or make it yourself?
*If so, is it daily? How much?
    *Your reason?

There is a great book -- The Wheatgrass Book -- which has some helpful info.

If you take the time (not that it takes much) to grow it at home, it's really cheap -- like maybe .10 for a shot? It grows in a little over a week, and the seeds are a few dollars or less per pound.

It is FULL of minerals and VERY healing. :)

I have a manual wheatgrass juicer -- it's time consuming but it works. I've been looking into buying a fancier juicer soon, which I just may do. But for $30-40, the manual one is worth what I paid and maybe tad more...

If I did, I'd make it myself. Own and sell the manual juicers.

    Was. 2 ounces.

    *Your reason?
    For what?

Revvell, I meant the reason you do wheatgrass, such as maybe because you're trying to cure yourself of a particular illness/ailment, etc, or maybe just to maintain good health, etc.

When I was doing it, it was as an experiment to see what happened. It's great! I had no joint pain which I had at the time; more mental clarity... good stuff!
