Greetings all!

This is a reminder to some and a first notice to others. In the Rules for Posting, Alissa has made a request and it is as follows:

3. No posting links to other sites that sell products that are sold on Alissacohen.com. Instead, you may want to consider buying from Alissa in order to support the continued function of this site since it isn't free to run. No, you are not obligated to buy from our store but please be respectful by not listing links of other sites that sell items that we sell, whether theyre “cheaper” or not. If anyone wants to find lower prices they are welcome to search for them on the internet or locally. Also, we will delete threads immediately that are selling or advertising your site and products. This is not the place for that.

So, the BEST thing to do, if you want to know the best place to find or simply where to find blah blah blah product, appliance, etc. - look right over to your left in that light-green sidebar and locate the words "Alissa's Store" and first SEE if she carries it. If not, then proceed to post your thread asking where to find the item(s) you are looking for. It's just out of respect to the woman who is providing this forum to us for free. Yeah, I know some of yall get tired of hearing that, but sorry, it is what it is!

Consider if you went to Walmart passing out circulars to K-Mart (yeah, yeah, I know...some of you would NEVER shop at Walmart...but I'm making a point here)...you would be asked to either stop or escorted off the premises if you got caught!

Or better yet, consider if you owned your own store and someone came in telling your customers, "You can get a better deal if you go down the street to ____!" How would that make you feel as a store owner? Think about it!

So, please be mindful of this. As Alissa has said before, she doesn't care if you choose to shop at other online stores but there is no need to blatantly promote them on her site if she carries the same products (or even similar). And this also goes for posting the name of the site or not making the domain a hyperlink for example, "I go to thatotherstore.com" That's a little sly, indirect way of promoting the other source because she said "LINKS"...but it's the same difference.

Thanks for your anticipated compliance and adherence to this!
