what's your price range?
i have a Jack LaLane juicer (bout $100) and i really like it.
-
I have a Waring Pro ($70). Love it, but it doesn't do wheatgrass. I have a small manual Healthy Juicer for that ($30). :)
-
I have a SoloStar II and love it.
I paid $209 for it. It does grass, fruit, veggies, and ice cream.

Oh wow, so the cheaper juicers do the job just as well, that is great to know, i thought i had to spend a fortune to get one that juices without loosing all the nutrition from the fruit and veggies.
Thanks for your responses really appreciate that and feel better now.
What do you think of the Champion juicers?? has anyone used one and think its fantastic and a great buy?? i have seen them for around $219 Just wondering if its a good juicer or not??

I have a champion. It was rather hard to clean.
So yes overly lazy. Too much pulp still in the housing. My kitchen doesn't have a disposal, so I cleaned it outside so I wouldn't get the pulp down the drain. I use the SoloStar a lot more now. Also, the I don't have to chop up celery for the SoloStar and the SoloStar does wheat grass. On the web sites that did juicing test, the SoloStar came out with just a wee bit more carrot juice than the Champion. Plus I can put anything in the SoloStar. The Champion has to have things put in to push stuff through.

I work a lot with www.877myjuicer.com He has great prices and will match it if you find it for less.
I'd rather juice my grass!

I often recommend people read the following link, because it offers some frank information on the relative merits of various juicers:
www.ethicaljuicers.co.uk/juicers_comparison.php
The Champion juicer is known to heat the juice a little, which isn't ideal.
Personally, I use an Oscar Vitalmax 900 and find it superb, but I realise it is not one of the cheapest (though it is far from being the most expensive, either!)
