We recently researched both juicers and while they both seemed amazing, the Green Star began to emerge as a winner. The reasons were that it comes with everything you need and it seemed a lot easier to make the transition to wheatgrass juicing. The clincher though, was when I began to hear that the Champion juicer heats up the juice and Green Star doesn't. I emailed Champion and they emailed back saying that their juicer DOES get hot enough to perhaps kill some of the enzymes.
We went with Green Star and we LOVE it!
    Hope this helps!

    Hello,

I have a greenstar and love it. To me my main concern was to get the most nutrients possible and the greenstar wins. I have juiced reguar juice-wheatgrass and "ice cream" Everyone is different, but clean up to me is easy.

I got a green star in january after tons and tons of research and love it! I had gotten a centrifugal juicer a few years ago, big mistake, didn't want to repeat it and almost did by getting an Omega which has a very common problem of chipping the plastic auger to dust that ends up in the juice and/or pulp.

I didn't consider the Champion at all because:
-Doesn't do wheatgrass which I wanted
    -High speed destroys more nutrition

I got the Green Star because:
-Extracts 33% more juice than juicers like the Omega
-Extracts I beleive it is 100-200% more vitamins and minerals
-Makes juice that lasts 3 days
    -Many other reasons

I was almost put off the Green Star from so many people saying how hard it is to clean, but I clean it in 3-5 minutes, it's really not hard at all. I can enter the kitchen and within 10-15 minutes have left with my glass of juice and the juicer cleaned (depending on what I'm juicing).
