Default Calling all manual wheat juicers..

I am thinking of getting a manual wheat juicer. Seems like an inexpensive way to get started and see if i stay with it. I have seen so many mixed reviews, not sure just what to do.

Some concerns are rusting, cheap parts that break, etc.
Can I get some feedback, esp from those who have used the machines for awhile without problems. However,ll feedback appreciated!

I have a Champion and vitamix and really love the high quality.. but in this case , I would really like to keep costs down.

Great idea! Thanks! I was hoping wheatgrass juice could be made this way.

I made a gallon of green juice (organic baby spinach) in my blender over the weekend. I used unbleached cheese cloth to strain it. It's really good!

Thank you for the juicing suggestions! I am going to give the vitamix a whirl and see.

I still like the idea of the 'manual' . Yesterday I lost mt electric for most of the day and i really did think of that manual juicer.Sort of like living one inch closer to being off the 'grid'..my dream.

For some discussion on various juicing options, should you decide to explore one in addition to the Vitamix method, you might find the following article interesting:

All the best with your wheatgrass juicing. It's takes some effort to grow and juice it regularly, but, my word, the stuff truly is rocket fuel - the claims made in the health industry are rarely true but wheatgrass has, in my experience, been an incredible exception - it is unbelievably powerful, as a detoxifier and cleanser, with one important caveat - I derived no significant benefit until I consumed a minimum of half a pint per day. I am well aware that this goes against standard recommended practice, but the results, for me, were astounding (including being powerfully anti-parasitic, when wormwood tinctures etc. had made no difference at all).
