    Default What's is YOUR passion?

If you had all the money you could ever need, and all the time in the world, what would you do? (it needs to be something other than travel, and this isn't about what you would buy, or give, although that could be a cool thread too)

I would paint, build castles and learn to sculpt, my hubby says he would build a space station and a large desalinization system to turn sea water into drinking and irrigation water.

    Oh, neat.

I'd take lots of different kinds of art classes - painting, drawing, sculpting, photography, welding (all i can think of right now)

I would also take cello, piano and harp lessons. Probably find a neat, not-so-well-known instrument and want to learn how to play that, as well.

I'd take courses in gardening, politics, environment, animal care and lots of others I can't think of right now, either. ha

I'd take lots of acreage and turn it into a farm animal/regular pet rescue. I'd also have lots of gardens - fruits and veggies. On the acreage would also be my underground home complete with composting toilets and all.

Probably a bunch of other things, but I noticed that I kept wanting to say "give" and "donate" a lot. I'll have to save those for another thread. :)

I too would take art classes again-nothing serious, since I'm not any good , but just have loads of fun.

I would pick up where I left off a few years ago on the French horn.

I'd start a senior advocacy center.

I'd start an animal rescue (probably small dogs, but really, any kind of animal).

I'd spend a lot of time on our piece of land in the country, swinging in a hammock, sticking my feet in the pond, and tending to the garden there.

    I'd write more.

    I'd build another dollhouse.

    I'd learn sign language.

    I'd learn Italian.

    I'd trace my maternal ancestors.

I'd spend a lot more time with my husband, my Mandy, my family and friends.

    I'd color more.

    GREAT YOU GUYS,

YOU did really great, now the key is to do at least one of these things that you love.

And, of course, you CAN do all of them, but sometimes that seems daunting, so just do one (to start with), you will be so happy you did.

And Autumn, I want pictures of that new doll house. )

I would build me a tree house, one I can live in, and be close to nature and enjoy the wildlife up close. I would reconnect with my artistic side and draw or paint or do what ever I want that expresses WHO I really am. I would build a bike trail up and down the creek here that would run right under my tree house. I would meditate more. I can just feel what it would be like to be sitting up in my tree house, all quiet except for the sounds of nature and sitting in my plush little corner meditating and loving who I am and what I have created. ;)

    Love,
    Angie

I would love to build a beautiful cabin in the woods. Someplace that has good land so i can seriously learn to organic garden. Get off the grid and be self-sufficient for electric, water, etc. I own a spinning wheel, but have no clue how to use it. So, I'd like to learn that and weaving.

I have also always wanted to have my own successful home business..tho I have no idea what that would be!

I'd also love to write a best-selling novel. Which I suppose would be one way to have my own home business!

Ooooo. Tree houses like the Swiss Family Robinson?? I always adored their home.

    I thought of some more:

I'd learn sign language so I could be fluent in it. I know some things, but not enough.

I'd learn Italian, Spanish, Latin, French....

I'd build a bigger, better animal shelter than the one that's here.

I'd get my children's book published.

I'd build a top notch school for people with learning disabilities.

I'd build playgrounds with gardens in some inner cities.

I'd start up an after school program.

I'd take classes in architecture, glass blowing, archeaology, art history, creative writing.

I'd have the biggest collection of music and movies/tv shows.

I'd save as much rainforest as possible.

I could keep going and going. haha

Rawpriestess, I really like your husband's idea about the desalinization system.

    RP,
Well I took your advice to heart already. Last night I colored 3 pictures. LOL! I buy all kinds of coloring books, lay on the floor in the living room and color to my heart's content.

I also asked my grandmother today about her ancestors, as many as she could remember, and where they were born, and wrote it all down. She told me the (full) names and birthplaces of over 20 people! Of course I know the names of a lot of my older/deceased relatives, but, typically, many were changed when they came to the US. (My aunt Margaret is really named Michaela-how beautiful!, my great-granny was Palmina, and my grandmom's surname was Santoro, not Sandor, as I previously thought! I learned a LOT today. I sure wish I did this years ago while my great-granny was alive (that *and* learn Italian, since she spoke it fluently). She only died 6 years ago. I could have learned so much more from her!

What an awesome post/idea this was, RP!

    Default If only

I would buy a house with a lot of land and create a paradise in my yard with waterfalls and a garden. I would also like to have a greenhouse and maybe put my bed in the center of it. : ) I would take gardening, guitar, painting, sculpting and more massage classes. I would keep doing massage, but I would have my own place, a healing center.

    Talking Ooh the possibilities

Oooh I would do more gardening, read more, make herbal teas and give them to friends, take a yoga class or three and learn more natural health techniques to share and use on others.

One day I will...I have my aim !
Please read my journal..I am brutally honest !

"I have to remind myself that some birds aren't meant to be caged.
Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away,
the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up does rejoice.
Still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they're gone.
I guess I just miss my friend"
