    Default Cousin's IV in Chicago

This place is fabulous! This was my first time in a raw restaurant (not a cafe) and it was superb. If you like your food to be balanced, flavorful, and a bit on the spicy side from time to time, this is the place to go! Their desserts are fantastic too! And for any of you that live in the area, they also have a live box program! (So wish I lived there, cause while I love making our food, it'd be nice to have the option to NOT uncook some days too!)

If any of you are in the Chicago area, Cousin's is on W. Irving Park Rd. Go check it out!

    Default Wait...tell me again

I am visiting my dad this Summer in Chicago...and the only one I had seen so far was "Karyns" have you tried there? I wanted to go somewhere that was good but family friendly too...I will have my family with me!!! My Dad is the traditional Marine type...not very open minded...so I gotta find a place that is not too "metaphysical" if you know what I mean!!!

I'v been there and was 'thrilled' I wish I could go back and do Karyn's and Cousin Vi's !!!!!!!!!!!

    Smile Great!

Good to know, actually now that you mention it I remember seeing a "comfort menu" on her site!!! I am excited to try it! I am hoping it will "open" my eyes to a broader menu at home!!!

    thanks!

FYI: Karyn's Cooked is not "next door" to the raw place. It is on a different street and it a different neighboorhood than the Karyn's Raw.
