I'm not sure if this is in the right forum. None of the others seemed to fit. Anyway, I'm a student at Portland State University and I'm doing a project on community gardens - both their health benefits and their community-building benefits. There was a big one in Los Angeles
some years ago. The city decided a Walmart would be better. If you do a Google search, you might be able to find some of the people involved. Apparently it was very big and fed a lot of people.
