    Default Ziwipeak food for cats?

My cat has terrible allergies, seems to be allergic to everything. My family adopted her (and her sister, who has no allergies) from the cat rescue shelter. The shelter and vet put her on a specialty dry food, and the allergies are somewhat better but not completely gone. When she breaks out--and we don't know what causes her to break out--I need to bring her in for a Depo shot. I have tried to keep her away from the shots as much as possible, going for a long as a year, but this was miserable for her because whenever she broke out she had to wear the victorian collar and sometimes how to wear it for long stretches at a time--it was/is very sad. Anyway, I am hoping that switching her to a raw diet will help her. I purchased some frozen raw food (Bravo) as well as a jerky-type food from Ziwipeak. The store owner said it was raw, and the Ziwipeak website made it sound like it might be, but I am not sure. (I did email a contact there but haven't heard back yet.) Has anyone used this and/or know whether or not it is raw? It is taking a long time to transition her off her bad food, but she is slowly coming around to eating the jerky-type food and hesitantly licks the thawed Bravo raw food.
    Thanks,
    M :)
p.s. I did check out rawfedcats.org. Great info, and I hope I can get my cat there evenutally.

Sorry, I haven't heard of that brand before - there are so many!
Congrats on switching your cat(s?) to raw!!!! There are many accounts of raw alleviating or even curing allergies completely, so raw is definately the way to go. And maybe your poor cat can give up the collar for good!!! I have written a few threads about my cat, who is now raw for almost a month and is doing really well. It is possible that your cat will experience some detox when starting raw, especially if she has been on meds or eaten a poor diet earlier in life, but after that hump she should be on her way.
With 2 cats, you will definately notice a change in the litter cleanup - I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't witnessed it myself, but there is no smell from the litter at all, and MUCH less cleanup.
Keep us posted on you cats progress!
