    Default Starting tomatoes indoors

I'd like to start my tomatoes indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost as we have a short growing season where I live. I would like to buy peat pots to sprout them in, but they're rather expensive. Is it worth the extra effort to start them in old plastic water jugs (I have a ton as I buy spring water) and then separate the seedings by hand (untangling the roots) and transplant them?
Transplanting is easier with peat pots as you just stick them right in the ground.

Default If you have a ton of them,

why not put one tomato seed in each water carton?

Peat Pots are easier but your plan will work just as Good, it is just a little more work.

Where is My Recipe for the Calendula Cream you talked about in another Thread, which I asked you for......:)

    Thanks spicyfull!
I posted the calendula cream recipe in the other thread, but here it is again, in case you missed it.
1 cup calendula petals, blended into a powder
    1 cup melted cacao butter
    1 cup melted coconut oil
Blend all ingredients, pour into a tub, allow to harden and use to get lovely glowing skin.
