Default How long to clean Green Star juicer?

As I said in another post I am now looking for a juicer with metal augers, the green star seems like the perfect choice except for the clean up time. If it takes to long too clean I won't use it much and at that price I want to use it.

Can the green star be cleaned in 5 minutes or less by hand?

About how long does it take to clean?

    Thanks

hi raweater, a 5 minute cleanup is possible if you are juicing fruit/veg - i have a wiry little kitchen brush that helps alot. but for making nut butters, the cleanup of the goo takes longer.

i will say it's quick to put together and take apart.

    hope that helps. alicia

    I have one.
I know that the clean up is longer than others but the research shows that the quality of the juice is so much higher that it is worth it.
I think that the answer is to drop the parts in to a dish of water as soon as you are finished.
