Default Good UK website for grains/seeds for sprouting?

I have difficulty getting hold of sprout-able grains in the shops, does anyone in the UK know of a good website I can order them from?

There's a fgood selection on ebay, but what I do is go to the local Asian supermarket and get them :) I've also bought things like alf alfa seeds in health food places that don't state they're for sprouting but they sprout just fine :)

Thanks. I have found broccoli/alfalfa seeds in Julian Graves but I'm mainly looking for sproutable barley, buckwheat, kamut, etc. The asian store has a good selection of cheap pulses and beans but not grains
I will check out the ask jeeves links :)

    Default Glaser Farms

Also have a look at this link:

    http://www.glaserorganicfarms.com/Me...ategory_Code=g

It's a farm is in Florida that's sells raw everything. The link is for their grains page. It would be ideal to use local grain but given the Pound/Dollar worth you could get tonnes for your pound! Even just buying once until you find a local supplier.

Even if no it's worth checking out the website as they sell every kind of raw prpared food all made on site.

    Cheers,

    EPPP

PS: I dont you you get into London but if you do go check out Planet Organic. They would have some too.

Thanks. I go up to London a lot, I have never been to Planet Organic. I've been to Whole Foods though - I was sooo happy even to see a tiny little 'raw' section :) Expensive though

I've bought hulled sunflower seeds for sprouting in both Holland and Barrett and Infinity foods (Brighton). IFs also sells whole grains that you can sprout. Other health food stores are likely to have them too. Thompson and Morgan seed people sell seeds and grains for sprouting too but they are in little packets.

I got some sunflower seeds and a bag of mixed seeds for sprouting today. Thanks! :)

Since I originally posted this I have also found wheat berries from the fresh network; buckwheat, kamut, millet and others on www.optimumfoods.co.uk; and most of these and rye and some others on www.goodnessdirect.co.uk. Hope this helps anyone else in the UK who has trouble!
