    Default another Alchemy review

Dh and I went to Alchemy in Hartford CT in late November. I forgot to review it. So here it is.

It's a really small place, but I really dug it. We ordered and then sat at the O2 bar til our order was ready. Dh had a grilled avo, tomato and cheese sandwich. He LOVED it. I had the Raw Falafel plate. It was OUT OF THIS WORLD. I couldn't have been more pleased. It was enough for 2 whole meals. Oh and for dessert we had a raw macaroon. devine.

It is about an hour's drive, so it's not a place we can frequent often, but well worth the trip to celebrate our 10th anniversary.

    Can't wait to review Grezzo.....

    Default Also loved Alchemy

I live near Boston but drive to NY/NJ/PA to visit family. I have stopped at Alchemy on my last two trips, in Oct and Dec. Both times my meals were delicious! They have 2-4 raw entrees each time, many vegan entrees, some vegetarian (cheese and eggs).

The folks working there were incredibly nice both times.

Dessert, yum. I had a macaroon one time (agree on divine) and the other time a piece of raw chocolate that was incredible (but understandably fairly expensive).

    I highly recommend Alchemy.

ps, See ya at Grezzo. Rumor has it that it will be reservation-only, a rather small place, maybe only open Thu/Fri/Sat.
