Inexpensive Juicer....

I am a Fan of the Jack Lalane Juicer. Is your Certificate from a special store? Do check to see what kind they carry.

Put it towards the Vitamix 5200 and skip the juicing, enjoy the whole fruit and veggie;)

I really do not have any recomendations. I am using a cheap hamilton beach one, but it does the job. I know the better and more expensive the more nutrients you recieve, but if you are like me at the moment I can not afford the more expensive one so I do with the one I have at the moment. The thing about jucing is the nutrients go straight to your system v's a blender. I wonder how the one that Alissa sells on this website is?? You would only have to add $50 more dollars. I have to say, I ADORE my Omega 8003.
It was $200, but it's one of the BEST juicers around, ask anyone.
I'd save a bit more and invest in one of those babies, or as previously mentioned, save and get a vitamix. I use both everyday, but I don't like green smoothies, so the juicer is better for me because green JUICE goes down alot easier, IMO.

I've been doing Kale, collard, orange + lemon juice every day.

The Lexen Healthy Juicer is $45. It is a manual, masticating juicer that does wheatgrass and greens like a DREAM. You can buy it from Revvell- this is a free advert for her here. I bought mine from her and got it really fast. I LOVE it. I don't even mind cranking the handle.

I love the Jack LaLanne juicer. Paid around 95.00 at Costco. It's really heavy duty. As far as cleaning it, it does take a couple of minutes. Although, it doesn't seem that bad to me. I have never had another juicer, so I have nothing to compare the cleaning or juicing with. I wanted to make sure I like juicing and would really use it, before buying an expensive machine.

The price was right and I didn't have to send for it. I bought it and I have been juicing ever since. YUM!! I'm sure there are much nicer machines out there. You'll just need to save a little to get one.

If you are looking for an inexpensive juicer consider buying one used, you see them at yard sales etc. for VERY cheap and save your $$$ to put towards a Vita Mix, then you would have them BOTH! People buy juicers or have them given to them and then never use them and after they are sick of them taking up space they sell them. One Saturday going to garage sales I saw THREE. Best of luck, I don't know if I could pick between my juicer or my Vita Mix - I love them both.

I also bought a Jack LaLanne juicer AFTER using the Juiceman Juicer (which I didn't like). With Jack LaLanne's juicer you can put in larger pieces or even whole fruits and veggies. To me the Juiceman was just too much work because you really had to cut up everything into small pieces and I thought it was way too much work to clean. To me, the Jack LaLanne juicer was easier to use and clean. I would just rinse off the pieces and put them into my dishwasher. For the little bucket thingy that catches the pulp I would just put one of those little plastic grocery store bags to catch the pulp and just toss it after juicing. OH YEAH - the juice was delicious! Also, if you decide on a Jack LaLanne juicer you should call customer service because I think that you can get one for about 1/2 the price you would pay at the store. They may also have them refurbished.

I also bought a Jack LaLanne Healthmaster 100 (couldn't afford the Vitamix). I bought that from Jack LaLanne refurbished for 1/2 the advertisied price. I must say that since I have been making smoothies with the Healthmaster I have not been juicing at all. The smoothies are so delicious and filling! I have been using the Healthmaster for a little over 2 months now daily and I have not had any problems. It is a great sub for the Vitamix in my opinion

I personally love my Breville juicer. I ended up getting the top of the line one at Linens and Things with the 20% off coupon from bed bath and beyond it was $160.00. I think they have a cheaper one around the $100.00 mark. It is easy to clean and has a nice tight fit!

I wouldn't get the Waring one - I bought this one before my Breville and it died after only using it twice.

I also have the Waring Pro juicer that rawkchicster has, and I LOVE it. I recently went on a juice fast and have been juicing somewhat regularly for a while. Once you get the hang of it, it is really quick and easy to clean. It also works quickly and does a good job with everything but wheatgrass. I think considering that I have had it for nearly a year of still being like new it was a great purchase for $70 -$10 rebate.

For wheatgrass I have a healthy juicer, which cost me about $35-$40. It has a lot more pieces to clean, but it was a lot more affordable than other wheatgrass juicers I've seen.
