    Default Blender, juicer, liquidiser... help?

Hi everybody! (Hi Dr. Nick) :) I want to start making my own green juices, and I have absolutely no idea what kind of food processor/blender/juicer/etc to get! I want a vita-mix but they're ridiculously expensive.
Since most people here appear to be from the US, and I'm in England, I'm not looking for specific brand recommendations (though thankyou, if you were thinking of taking the time to do that). I'm more concerned about which type of processor to get.
I want the juices to be as smooth and liquidy as possible, I don't want to be drinking glasses of mulch. But I do want to put greens in there like spinach and lettuce and then hard veggies like carrots. Would I need a blender for that, or would a juicer do? Is a liquidiser the same as a juicer? Any help is appreciated!

    Default Juicer..

I would go for a juicer if you truly want GREEN JUICE

If you want green smoothies then-- Blender/liquidiser will do that

For a silky smooth, no fibre juice-- juicer all the way

    Think that answers..hope so anyway!

Right...if you don't want any fiber in your drink you'll need a juicer. I use my blender soooooo much more than my juicer. Although I do have an attachment for my bosh bread mixer that is a citrus juicer and that it great, but it still has pulp in it, which I really like. It all depends on if you want smoothies, which you can make thin or simply juice.

I have a juicer and blender. I prefer the blender the juicer has to much clean up required.
