    Default Hothouse vs. Outdoors

I am having a debate with DH: I want to do organic gardening next year and he wants to set up a hothouse for me. I thought somehow the foods grown outdoors would be more nutritious getting direct sunlight than the indoor variety. Anyone have information on the difference with direct experience on this?

I think a Hot House would be FABULOUS....I see one as being the best of both worlds. All a Hothouse is a place where you have controll. You can controll the temp., watering, light.

You would be able to grow Vegetables year round. I think you are thinking about plants being grown with chemicals and water. When you bring your Plants in for the winter.......that is simular to a Hothouse, just controll.

The house has doors and screens so you can let daylight in , shield it from too much Sun. Controll the weeds better, and the bugs.

You should do both. Having a hot house will mean that you can have more variety.
I am planning one next year as well but am hoping that it will be natural soil. I will just construct it on the grass and the plants will dig deep in to the soil but will be protected from the cold.
