Raw Food meetups in Chicago Nothwest Suburbs

I am very grateful for this forum. I have joined a meetup group in Naperville, thanks to someone who posted it here. We meet in Downer's Grove now, at Borrowed Earth, the new raw food place owned by our group organizers. It's a wonderful group, where we can all feel at home.
My only problem is the meeting time/day is hard for me: I would like to take my non-raw hubby,and that is too late in the weekend for him to go that far. He drives south of the city to work, and I would like to form a group closer to home. Are there any of you nearer to me? How many here at RFT live farther North of Chicago? From the Wisconsin/ Illinois border near Lake Geneva/ Richmond, IL, to Marengo, Harvard, Algonquin, Carpentersville, Dundee, Palatine, Buffalo Grove, Vernon Hills, Gurnee, Antioch, IL. Those are the some of the areas that are sort of a radius from the Fox Valley area where I live. We all need support, and sometimes we can't to go too far from home in the Midwest winters. I have a few other raw foodies close by, and a meeting place, at a HFS for a smallish group of adults. I would hate to discriminate, it would be difficult to have children at this location, but we aren't bound to this place if someone else has a more child friendly place.
Any response would be great. I'd like to think there are many more of us close by.

well, we're not as big as the Living's Naperville group, but you're welcome to come to Elgin. We have a potluck once a month.
