Juicing gurus, I had a weird experience on Sunday after consuming a juice of beets, apple, celery, parsley and spinach. I got these veggies from the farmer's market I go to every Sunday. However, I don't juice that often, just consume them whole:) But last Sunday, I decided to do a big juice and after about half an hour of drinking it, my lower gut felt like it was on fire and I was bloaty and gaseous all day. I can't account for this to be the result of anything else but the veggie juice, as I woke up early feeling fine, took a long walk with the dog, went to the farmer's market. I felt absolutely no pain or discomfort at until the juice, so I assume it was that.

So my question is, do you think it was some bug on the veggies or just the consumption of so much juice when you're not used to it? Or something else?

Thanks for your thoughts!
