Raw Food Basics #1
Indian Raw Food and some recipe’s from "I AM GRATEFUL" and how to create Indian flavor using basic raw food ingredients.
In this class you will learn some simple but Delicious recipes which will help you to stay on your path with joy.
Menu includes
• Masala Chai
• Indian salad w/curry dressing
• Sabji Masala (spiced veggie)
• Bryani and chutney (coconut or mint)
• Sweet ball (Laddu)
• Coconut curry soup (I am thankful)
• Marinated daikon salad (I am sprightly)
• Guacamole (I am generous),
• Pate (I am Kind)
Briksha Mahendra is a Raw food chef/instructor, a Yogi, Breath Coach, He combines Hindu Yogic practices and Buddhist wisdom in his teaching. He has learned spiritual nutrition and healthy eating life style under the guidance of Dr. Gabriel Cousens and Dr. David Jubb. He has been working as raw food chef for 6 years and teaching rawfood classes for last 3 years He worked as a head chef in Tree of Life for a year. Besides Being a Breath Coach, teaching rawfood and yoga classes, organizing raw food dinners, and working as private chef and rawfood consultant, he is currently he is working as chef in Cafe Gratitude (www.cafegratitude.com) and rawfood consultant in Judahlicious (an organic juice bar) . He has been teaching Yoga, guided meditation, and stress management classes since 1992. He is a founder of Raw Food and Yoga Support Circle, called RaYs Mandala. www.rays-mandala.org

Yep - I'm signed up for the class! I was so excited to find it, I mean - really, it's only Indian food that I would ever miss eating this way. I made Alissa's Indian spinach dip yesterday - wasn't quite my nice creamy palak, but yummy anyway! I think next time I would make it with soaked cashews and less avocado, as I couldn't shake the guacamole taste!
