Question I feel dumb

For asking this but I guess I'd rather know that to appear as if I know. How do I change the font and color and size of font? When I use the pull down menus all I get are the word for what I want in brackets. Also how do I put links to my journal and comment section in my posts? . I'm so confused please help. Thank you.

When you use the pull-down menus, once you select the size or color, etc. of your choice, then a box should pop up prompting you to enter the text that you want resized or a different color.

The other option is to look at what is shown in the brackets and type it. It goes something like this:

Say for example, you wanted to put the words, "I love you" in red and make it larger.

You would put this before the text (leave the spaces out, they are there so the codes show up): I love you

and then END the "tag" with this: [/ COLOR][/ SIZE]

So, the whole "tag" for what you want to do would look like this (again, without the spaces):

    I love you[/ COLOR][/ SIZE]

and it should look like this: I love you

I'm going to try and find the link to a thread where someone explained the process of putting links to your journal in the signature and post it here...

Okay, here is the link to instructions on putting a link to your journal in your signature line:

I found that if I highlight what is typed in the text box (that is what I want changed to a specific color or font or size) , and then select the font, color or size, it makes the change easily that way. But I have to do it for each option.

    Hope this helps.
