Chicago Area Restaurants

Can anyone recommend any Chicago or suburban Raw Restaurants?
A friend of mine has taken interest in Raw and we'd like to try one out!

I saw a couple listed in one of the other forums. Actually I think it's actually a forum for finding restaurants which is damn near impossible!

I haven't tried any myself, but I really want to next time I'm in the city

Since you mentioned chicagoland, there's a new raw restaurant in downtown Downers Grove, right inbetween the Tivoli and the train station.

The Downer's Grove restaurant is called Borrowed Earth Cafe.

Karyns is good!!! Cousins is good as well. If you want more of a heavy meal then Karyn's if you want more of a light meal then Cousins should work.

Karyn's does have a small section in the restaurant where you can eat all of the salad you want for I think $12.00 and I believe you have different pates to pick from on the food bar.

Cousins have a large all you can eat salad bar larger then Karyn's.

there are alot of potlucks in the area too. There is the one in Elgin, one in Hindsdale, and Naperville.

Going to Borrowed Earth Cafe next week. Went to a potluck there in November.
