EPPP - the avatar is a pic of my oldest son and Groucho Marx. We went to a show about a year ago and this person was FANTASTIC as Groucho. He was absolutely unbelievable. Anyway, we were sitting up front with the fam so we got picked on a bit. He ended up pulling my son up on stage with him and painting his face and then having him perform with him. Now, you should know ..... my son is very very reserved and very very shy. So, when he started dancing and mirroring groucho and the audience was nearly crying they were lauging so hard --- I nearly fell out of my chair! He was even featured in the newspaper.

It was a turning point (I feel) for him. He is a performer himself...a magician and quite good at it. He has so much charisma and such an amazing personality. But he was not able to get in front of people. This has completely changed that and he even performs for pay sometimes now. How cool is that?

Anyway, it was such a memorable and instant turning point that was so very plain to see for me that it simply astounds me every single time I see the pic and reminds me that change is a state of mind. (and even after all these years I still am so amazed at how blessed I am to have this soul in my life -- all my kids are this way to me) How does something so wonderful and so beautiful come from someone like me???

I love this thread. Simply inspiring. Having an action environment is the key to going raw for me. Having that sparkling kitchen, fresh, raw ingredients, and the tools, books, and videos to inspire. Thanks

What a blast to look into your cupboards and fridge to get some great organization tips. I love the container you store your Nalgene bottles in. We have about 5 of them floating around our house and they try to camp out on my counter at the end of the day, which I don't like because it looks cluttered....thanks to you they will have their own basket/container in the pantry soon. I hope you let us know about any more tips you start or hear about. THANKS!

Your welcome.:) Storing the bottles with the lid undone is best but then they tend to tip over. If you use them frequently put a sheet of paper toweling inside the bottle and screw the lid on as loosly as possible. The paper absorbs any odors and moisture. Do not put tops on if not using them regularly!

I also keep a shallow tray in a drawer for all of the smaller removable container lids. Also to rid containers of an unwanted smell soak in a baking soda (1T.) and water solution overnight.

    Cheers,

    EPPP

    Hello Shine!!!

You can get the Nalgene bottle in any sporting goods store like REI. The company make 1000's of plastic products but the main consumer product are the wide mouth containers.

I have tried every container material for smoothie & soup storage and these bottles give food the longest fridge life even over glass unfortunatly.

    Here is the direct link:

    Also for REI:
    http://www.rei.com/search?vcat=REI_SEARCH&query=Nalgene

I use these for salad dressing on the go; and agave travel:

    and
    http://www.containerstore.com/browse...3&PRODID=69233

link for The Container Store; I use the 32oz for storage and the 16oz for kids lunchbox.
    http://www.containerstore.com/search...=1&howMany=999

This I use for drinking smoothies out of. I LOVE it, LOVE it! wide mouth, spill proof. . .

I use these 1 & 4oz jars for storage in kids lunch boxes for olives, pickes, coleslaw anything wet. They are thick enought not to break in kids hands.

Also glass I send fruit in:
    http://www.containerstore.com/browse...2&PRODID=69216

These for nuts, raisins, dates, grains & crackers. Not these exact ones but very similar:

I know more info than you wanted. I would add pictures but my photo allowance in running low!

I hope this answers your question!

    All the best

    EPPP

PS: wanted to add this resorce tip from JocelynAZ: http://www.sks-bottle.com/340c/G2.html
