What do you like to sprout?
I remember when I first started sprouting and had a lot of disasters, like moldy sprouts or sprouting wheat berries and eating them and having an intense stomach ache. I've also given up sprouting beans.
I was watching Dorit on You-tube and she mentioned her favorite sprouts are peas, one of the few I haven't tried.
So, do you have some tried-and-true sprouts that have incorporated themselves into your life?
:)

Peas, lentils, and a mix of small, spicy seeds like radish. I buy from Sprout People and I use an Easy Sprouter.

I love to use Dr Vogels sprouting mixes (detox mix, aromatic mix) & his jars. I have the easysprout too but rarely use it.
:)
Bursting with gratitude to have found you guys :D
65 lbs I am releasing :p

I think that alfalfa is the easiest and least likely to give trouble.

fav sprouts
I could eat sprouted peas all day long! I also like mung beans, brocolli, garbanzo. mkz

I absolutely love mung bean sprouts... fenugreek is great, too... especially for upset stomachs!!!
torontosprouts has a great mix of garbanzo, lentil, mung, and other beans.. it's amazing.
I love sprouting, but haven't been doing much of it.. when I get my own apartment, I'll be sure to do it a lot more!!!

Buckwheat. I use it for/on everything.

I do the same as juliebove... use two easy sprouters and get most sprouts from sproutpeople.com... I had NO success in the beginning with sprouts. It was just awful.
I most often (and I hadn't been doing this much lately but am just now getting back into the habit) sprout buckwheat (it's so quick!!), alfalfa, mung beans and a couple mixes that sprout people has (italian and french... with garlic and clove mixed in... yum!!!).
I would very much recommend ordering the easy sprouter (unless you have a problem with using plastic!)... it really does make it easy. I have not had a single sprouting mishap since I started using those! Ah... and if you go to their web site (sproutpeople.com), you can search for any type of sprout for very specific instructions.
Man, didn't mean to be their little PR rep here! ;)
Happy sprouting!

I love lentil, pea, sunflower and my bean mix. Of course, I have a greenhouse and that makes sprouting a little easier than it used to be for me.
They are also great to travel with. :)
I'd rather juice my grass!

I love sprouting buckwheat.. they're just so cute! My dh thinks I'm crazy cuz I talk to them...
I always feel kinda bad when I scoop them up and munch away!!! kinda like eating a pet aaaccckkkk...
I seriously need to not think that way - or I'll never be able to eat another sprouted cute lil buckwheat ever again... and they are sooo yummilicious! ;)

Revvell? WHAT? Too much work! ACK!!!
::smacks forehead::
It's not too much work to get the wondrous benefits of sprouts. They are like little bundles of energy and life! And THEY do all the work growing. All one has to do is rinse a couple times a day. Or if you have a FreshLife sprouter, it does THAT for you! Just have to change the water daily.
Sometimes I don't get you Revvell - hee hee...;)
I like sprouting wheatgrass, buckwheat, alfalfa, and barley. Although I have many sprouts at one time or another going. I can't think of any I DON'T like, um, except maybe mildew in the shower...ugh...
