I am concerned - I've never been in snow ! I'm scouring all my friend's closets for something other than 'flip flops, tank tops and mini jeans skirts!! ayyyeeeee !

I'm hoping to share the cost of a room and a rental car... um - but dear lord don't put me behind the wheel.... I dont drive in the city... and especially not in snow!

This is going to be an advenure indeed!

For me to make such a decision to even leave my Island is HUGE ... (even if it's just for 5 days!)... but I know I will be safe, all will go smoothly, I won't get snow blindness, or get lost in the snow, or freeze to death... ummmmm ... will I???

ooo guess what! I totally forgot -- my bff is from Minnesota! I can borrow (between her and my nieces - somethings gotta fit!!) cold weather coat, long underwear, and sweaters!!! aaaand.... one of my hula sisters has some snow boots, gloves, hats and scarves that she will loan to me. So.... things are working out!!!

I am not going to the certification but I just had to respond to you...since I am in Maine and I desperately want to go to Hawaii. When I saw that you were coming here I said to myself, she's coming here and I want to go there! I wish I could just trade places with you for those five days! HaHa. I don't think my hubby and children would appreciate that too much though.

Anyways, I hope you have fun. It is an awful time (weatherwise) to be in Maine, but I am sure you'll be fine. We have heat, just stay indoors as much as possible.

i saw that movie a while back where those two gals changed places for two weeks... they both fell in love and had a great time... but since we're both married ;) ... our dh's might freak out if we changed places!!!
