    Default Jan 17 - 21, 2008: Certification in Maine!

    Great day to everyone!

Just wondering if anybody is planning on attending Alissa's certification courses (I-III) in Maine from Jan 17 to 21, 2008? My trip is going to be my Christmas present from my AMAZINGLY supportive parents. I'm comming "down" from Canada to attend and was just going to start planning accomodations, travel arrangements, etc.

I'd love to hear from anybody else who is thinking about going!

To great health! Have an awesome day!

    -C.

I am definitely wanting to attend. I may go ahead and register today. I will be coming up from Texas. I am not sure where I am going to stay as of yet. I am kinda one of those people who can sleep anywhere as long as I have a bottle of water and a tooth brush for the morning. LOL..

Same! There are some "couch surfing" websites available but I'm not sure how I feel about that! I e-mailed Allissa's office and they were more than helpful, they e-mailed me the info I needed along with some info about accomodations in the area (there's an $80/night motel). I have to get cracking on this, I still didn't get my passport! Eek!

Sounds great, I'll look into the whole passport thing and how long it's going to take...I should have it on time.

i too am looking to attend the raw certification -- I'll be coming from the Midwest, however Wisconsin). I hope to find some accomodations as well. Just scouring the net for reasonable plane tickets...

I will keep checking this post to see if anyone else is going to leap on board -- what a great way to start the new year!

    Blessings,

    Hi Starfire,

I am not going to the certification but I just had to respond to you...since I am in Maine and I desperately want to go to Hawaii. When I saw that you were coming here I said to myself, she's coming here and I want to go there! I wish I could just trade places with you for those five days! HaHa. I don't think my hubby and children would appreciate that too much though.

Anyways, I hope you have fun. It is an awful time (weatherwise) to be in Maine, but I am sure you'll be fine. We have heat, just stay indoors as much as possible.

AAaaacccckkk.... ... okay... i knew it would be cold -- i knew it would be snowy... but oh my gawd... 'awful weather' ... sigh...

i saw that movie a while back where those two gals changed places for two weeks... they both fell in love and had a great time... but since we're both married ;) ... our dh's might freak out if we changed places!!!

Yeah they might freak out. I think you'd be getting the short end of the stick on that one too. :)
