How long are you planning on juicing ahead? While it's true that juice oxidizes and loses nutrients over time, in my opinion raw juice is still better than the alternative. Most of our juices have lasted a week or more in the fridge without "going bad". The best tip I can give is don't leave it sitting in the sun for two days ~ it tends to mold (I made this mistake, sadly ). I also had a kombucha in a car over a weekend in the hot Georgia weather and took a sip after 3 days. Didn't taste good (too hot!) but ultimately would've been drinkable. ;)

just the same morning. or the night before. if i could do a couple days ahead of time, that would be great. i dread cleaning the juicer and when i use the blender, the juice tends to be too watered down. i read somewhere that putting raw honey in preserves the juice is that true? also, if i wanted to add flax or hemp oil, or enzymes, should i do it when i juice it or right before i drink it?

    hey rawrealestatelady,

    - What type of containers are you putting them in?
I 've been on a juice/water fast for about 2 weeks or so now and when I juice my fruits I pour them into those Ball canning jars that you can pick up at any walmart or meijers. I've notice that they tend to last longer because of the rubber seal and the fact that they are made out of glass.
    Hope this helps you

I think that a lot depends on the juicer you use and how you pack it.
I recently read that you can store the juice from a Green Star for 72 hours in the fridge if you fill the container right to the top so that there is no room left for air.

I like to add my supplements right before I drink it so it doesn't settle. It can get pretty nasty when you get a big mouthful of oil ;)
