O.k. so I juiced some apples for cider and they have been fermenting on my countertop for a few days. I opened one of the jars today because I saw mold forming on top and the juice smelled sour. I am guessing this is not normal but since I've never attempted this before, I am not sure. Anyone out there with some experience? Thanks!
