    Default Uploading a photo from your PC

    HELLO!

    I had a query from a RAW MOM and thought perhaps others may have issues with this as I did. When starting I was terrified but as soon as I "got it" it was easy peasy.

    My other motive is I really want to see others posting what YOU feed your kids!!!
    ************************************************** *******
    Please read HINT below before starting.

    This is tricky as everyone has a different system.

    • The basics are: Have downloaded your picture to your PC and have a file name not just a number like “0001”. Note the filename & directory.

    • Then when you have started writing a post or thread scroll down to and click on “manage attachments”;

    • A little window will pop up. click on “Browse

    • Another window will pop up with the heading “Choose File

    • That window will be a direct link to your PC files; scroll through and find your chosen file; double click on that file and it will automatically be added to the little manage attachments window in the “upload file from your computor” space .

    • Still in the manage attachments window: Then click on the “upload” button. If it accepts you photo file, the file name will then appear in the “upload file from URL” space and you are done. Close MA window. You can press “preview" on your post to check it out too.

    • If it does not accept your file it will give a warning at the TOP of the manage attachments window generally saying it is too big. If so just go in and reduce the file size.

    HINT: I have a RAWFOODTALK folder with lots of sub files. One of those files is labeled “RFTsmaller” So each time I add a photo to my PC I save the first as “mine” and the second I reduce in size and save in the “RFTsmaller” folder. That way I can also keep track of what I have uploaded to RFT and as I have been posting pictures for the last three years I really need help keeping track!

    I was crossing my fingers I got this all right and my Microsoft husband has given it the thumbs up!

    Your welcome :) ! I know people will look at the title and think I've lost my marbles posting this in the kids section but I know that some parents are just so harried they may never have the time to figure it out!
