Default Ready to find my rawness again!

Hi! I'm here to give and receive support on my journey to be as raw as I can be! I am a strong believer in living foods. I help others reach their goals and try to inspire and support those in my life to live closer to nature. After a twin pregnancy and the birth of my beautiful babies I am ready to move from my current 60% or so up to 90% raw which is where I feel best. I've been raw for three years, but have struggled with cooked grains and carbs. My partner is not raw and I have issues with self control around his food (which I cook for him). I am lucky to live in an area where the finest organic produce is available! I have no excuses except the "time thing" as I am nursing two babies full time and working outside the home a bit as well. Thank you for having me! I will most likely be found in the general discussion and recipe boards. Blessings, Anna

    Smile New from Oklahoma!

    Hello Dear Fellow Raw Fooders,
Wow has this been such a journey. I began my raw lifestyle last August. It has been an off again on again affair. I'll share more about this later. However, I am delighted to be here with you and am very much looking forward to chatting with all of you.

As you can imagine Oklahoma is not the meca of raw foodists. So trying to find any like minds has been challenging at best. So far not much luck. Therefore, this type of forum should be wonderful for me.

I'm really looking forward to getting into the other discussion forum for pointers on how not to be hungry all of the blasted time while raw fooding. This has been a real hindrance for me. Any pointers will be much appreciated.

Anyway, it's late and I must close, but glad to be here with you.......and will look forward to hearing more of your journeys as well as sharing my own.

    Thanks so much,
    mtab

Congratulations & Welcome Anna! Don't beat yourself up about your "raw ratio". Enjoy your babies and remember you're travelling in the right direction - does it matter if it takes a little longer to get there than you thought?

    Welcome to mtab too :)

Hiya Anna, welcome and congratulations on your twin babies! Girls or boys or both? Glad to hear you are able to nurse them! How old?

I'm a mom myself of a 2 yo and one on the way in a month or so. This forum has been wonderful to help me stay raw so far! :)

Welcome to mtab as well! Hope you will find the answers you need to stay become raw! :)

    Thumbs up

Hello and welcome, I just got back into raw after a 2.5 year hiatus. You made the right decision, I'm still getting over the detox part of my regiment. It's a pain, today I have a distinctive metal taste in my mouth. I figure it's going to take me 2 or 3 weeks. I have a friend that took a whole 3 months. Hopefully it won't take that long. I only mentioned that little bit of information so you won't get discouraged if you don't feel right all at once Judy

Welcome. I'm a Mom on 14 month twins (boy/girl). I love it being a Mom of twins. It's pure chaos, but wonderful.

I'm an off/on raw person. Trying to find myself, which is hard while being dedicated as a Mom and wife.

I would love to talk raw and babies.
