Any reports from the Raw Spirit Festival in Arizona this past weekend? We want to hear all about it.

    Thank you!

My heart is singing for joy this morning! A miracle has happened! The light of understanding has shone upon my little pupil's mind, and behold, all things are changed!

Ha! I love the term "Franken-Foods" used in the newstarget articel ....Ha! Maybe it's just because Halloween is drawing near, but I absolutely love it, that is perfectly descriptive of SAD...

For an event which went from 250 to 2500 or so, I think it went very well. There were a few hiccups such as you had to wait in line for meals for 45+ min sometimes, unless you got there really early or late. I heard them announce that meals would not be served at next years event. Some of the events moved from what the schedule said and some where cancelled as the speaker did not come. Did not find out untill driving to the Radison, that you could not park at the Radison, I was told I had to drive back to West Sedona where I had just driven from and park in a lot and take a shuttle to the event. Would have been nice to have been told this before..........All in all though I felt it went smashingly and everyone who worked to make it happen should be commended for the hard work and effort which went into this event. At large events such as this, one has to have the abiltiy to roll with the flow and have a bit of patience, which was not to hard to muster as there was a feeling of love from so many whom I had never met. It was fabulous to meet and have an oportunity to talk face to face with such great people, especially those who have been such a part of the movement such as The Boutenkos, David Wolfe, Steve Meyerowitz, Matt Monarch,Victoras Kulvinskas, my new friend Cathy "goji Berry" Silvers :), ,,and the list goes on. My favorite was meeting Patricia Bragg, if you have met this beautiful woman, you know what I am talking about.....All of them sooo down to earth and some of the coolest people on the planet. I came home with so much information, a backpack full of books, samples of this and that, tons of new friends and contacts and thier websites.....all in all... worth the trip, most definately. And dont forget to take a couple days to explore Sedona while your there. Much love to Happy Oasis and her crew for their hard work and dedication.

I tried to get there. Was supposed to set up a booth and sell. Unfortunately spent 8 hours at my home airport and then 24 hours at the New Jersey airport and never made it to Sedona. At least I finally got my luggage back. I do know someone who has DVD's available of the talks given that weekend. I'll let you know if he has some left over to sell.
I'd rather juice my grass!

My business partner and his wife went and had a great time. Lots of focus on health, yoga, mediation, and doing well for the planet. Interestingly different views on healthy approaches to eating. Dr. Jameth Sheridan gave a talk on "agreements" by some of the raw food leaders from around the world. They met in 2006 and 2007. The 2006 summary is posted at http://www.treeoflife.nu/dl/livingfo...tstatement.pdf

Sounds like it was a great success!
