    Default champion juicer and wheatgrass???

i'm wondering... why can't my champion juicer juice wheatgrass?

i don't understand why it wouldn't work... but if it doesn't, then would a manual wheatgrass juicer work just fine? cause i don't want to spend a bunch of money on this.

I'm not sure about the wheatgrass juicers, but if you're not wanting to spend the money for an extra juicer, (like me!). I just use my magic bullet, cut up the grass into 1/2 inch pieces, mix 1/2 cup grass with 1 cup water, blend and strain with the bowl from my Juiceman juicer. The WG pulp is left a pale green/white fiber, and juice is a lovely dark green. Works great.

mine goes through a regular juicer just fine, as long as I cut the grass in small pieces then juice it mixed in with another type fruit, we do lemons or apples. Otherwise the fibers are too tough, and the blades of grass get thrown out whole.

Oh I just saw the question about magic bullet/blenders, oops! Yes that has become our favorite way to juice wg, is to cut the grass in pieces, add water and blend, then strain through a fine mesh screen, we use the screen the juicer uses.

i was just reading the book that came with my champion and it has wheatgrass listed as one of the veges you can juice with a champion. weird how it doesn't say anywhere on the net that you can do wheatgrass with a champion. ???

anyway this is what the booklet says:

    Wheat Grass Juice

Cut the grass in 2 inch lengths. Juice the wheat grass a small amount at a time, alternating with a small amount of water until all grass is juiced. For a tasty nutritious drink, add six walnuts and four cups of carrot juice. Leafy greens can only be run in small amounts.
