Hey y'all,
My name is Dewberry and I live in lovely Atlanta Georgia. I have been wondering about the raw food diet for quite awhile. It seems a great way to eat and everyone talks about how great they feel while doing it. So I decided to buy a book and give it a try.
I bought the book RAWvoluition by Matt Amsden, a great book. But the information in the book is fluffy at best. The recipes look pretty good, but he doesn't really seem to have given any direction on how to eat raw. I'm going back to the book store and see what I can find.
I am going to try this for a week, to see if I can do it.

Hey Dewberry, welcome aboard! You can order Alissa's book from this site ya know. It will be very helpful, it was for me. Also, you might want to get green for life by Victoria Boutenko. Very informative about raw food diet. There are several other's I could give you if your interested. But, I'd start with Alissa's book and she also has a dvd. Where bouts in Atlanta are ya?

Aloha and Welcome to RFT!!! yep- I'm with garden granny!!! ALISSA'S book RAWKS! very informative... incredibly helpful for someone like me who had no clue how to start - where to start - or what the heck to do once I started!!!
having the DVD was like having Alissa standing in my kitchen showing me how to make these amazing recipes!! and I don't think I would've transitioned successfully without these two tools... her book and the DVD... i know I would've fallen away....
I know I must sound like a commercial -- but seriously... the guidance and teachings in Alissas book and the DVD have changed my life 100%... and I am so grateful.
