    Default Sea weed

I generally have a very strong stomach. I like recipes incorporating seaweed like salad rolled up in nori, Alissa's Prince Caspian recipe, and Sea Tangle kelp noodles.

On some days that I don't eat seaweed, I stir up just a teaspoon of kelp powder in water and drink it down. I've had it! It makes me nauseous. Why? I'm going to quit doing that.

And does anyone know how much is ideal?

With the wheatgrass they said the nausea was from the detoxifying effects I believe. Could the same argument be made for kelp? (I remember being told that it could remove strontium 90 from the body when nothing else could.) My other concern with kelp is knowing where it was harvested from. I have read that coastal harvesting could have it full of all kinds of pollutants and impurities and they could probably cause nausea too.

Even when I call a company for information the employee can just lie to me and I still don't know exactly where it was harvested from and with what technique was it dried - you know they could just be trained to give certain answers that are not true and they may not know it themselves.

I'm thinking about popping kelp tablets like Angela Stokes does. I'm really feeling like I need some serious sea vegetables.
