    Default Wrinkles and Sleep Position

I am totally unable to sleep on my back and am getting disgustingly serious wrinkles. I look around and have to conclude that every woman I know or see is sleeping on her back. Is there some other way to not have these sleep wrinkles besides changing position which I cannot seem to do?

I use a satin pillowcase which is suppose to help prevent wrinkles (and also is good for your hair). If you google there are many articles to back this up.

I've never used them but frownies look like they would work. Just google frownies.

    Thanks you two!

Actually my forehead is getting wrinkled from it. I have these multiple lines going from the middle of my eyebrows out the topside of my forehead on each side! Kind of Spocky alien looking!

Ah well. So I will have some character.

I sleep on my tummy. I have ALWAYS been a tummy sleeper except through my 9 month pregnancy with my son. I don't get sleep wrinkles. I don't know what causes that? Get a smooth pillow case that is made of 100% cotton so your skin can breathe.

It is age trinity! I am much older than you. (Like more than twice!) Never had a problem when younger. Now my skin will retain wrinkles from sheets and pillowcases (yes cotton) for hours.

Hmnnnnnn..do you think it might have anything to do with water retention?

I sleep on my side, always have...am 50 and other than a tiny little crease in the outer corners of my eyes have no wrinkles.

Default I have slept on my back

since pregnant with the twins and they turned 22 last month! I have no wrinkles and my skin is still very soft. I have never used anything on my face except water. I turned 60 in February. So, I am assuming that diet and genetics play a part in my good fortune, plus I always have drunk plenty of water.

    Default Wrinkles

I know what you mean Lucki. I'm 49 and have sleep apnea which means I sleep with a chin strap and a mask on my face every night. I wake up with THE WORST strap marks on my face that stay around for hours...but I'm thankful that I wake up!

I sleep on my back or side. I don't have any wrinkles at age 48. But then my parents are in their 70's and have no wrinkles. And my grandparents never had wrinkles. But fatness runs in my family. It's always something. My dad likes to tell people that he has no wrinkles because the fat plumps them out.

Wrinkles do not run in my family either but I am breaking the tradition. And I am overweight by at least 25 pounds. . . . possibly 35.

I think using good HFS oils like flax or hemp from their refrigerated case in your diet would help. Anyone have any opinions on that ?
