Default Interesting idea...using wheatgrass for "oil pulling"?

This thought came about because I have a gnarly toothache and am looking for ways to relieve the pain other than meds. I wonder what would happen if a person "oil pulls" with wheatgrass for 20 min. each morning, rather than with oil? I wonder what it'd do to the gums, to the teeth, and also being exposed to that main vein that is under the tongue. Hmmmm....

Thats an interesting idea. The absorption of nutrients under the tongue is called sublingual absorption.

I have been looking into wheatgrass today. Number 24 on this list talks about holding it in the mouth but does not say to spit out or swallow.

I have been using liquid chlorophyll for about a week and a half. It is abstracted from alfalfa. I did not have much faith in anything in a bottle as it can no longer be fresh. But it is having good effect on my gum and tooth problems. Chlorophyl is the active ingredient in alfalfa so I suppose it is just a matter of different folks thinking that one plant is superior to the other.

It's funny you mention this, because I wondered the same thing.
Yesterday I had my first wheatgrass juice ever and not only did I think about growing the grass myself, but also about swishing for a bit with the juice, not necessarily spitting it out, before you drink it, and what this could do for your teeth , because oil pulling doesn't seem to do much for me at all.
Maybe there's some info about it available on internet?

Wheatgrass juice should be swished around first in the mouth. Mixing with saliva to help with absorbtion. Check out my website for perfect wheat grass starter kits......SWISH AWAY
