Default Hearty Sandwich that really hit the spot today!

about a 6x4 slice of the famous onion bread
down the 4 inch center, plopped a bunch of my curried almond pate
the HOT guacamole from the locale deli - they add in chopped jalapenos
    my homemade pickles
Luciano Kale subbing in for lettuces
fold the tops over to make a closed rolled shut

It was hearty, hot, sour, creamy, satisfying and filling. I'd definitely recommend it for a big beefy guy - but he might want 2-3!

I'm a little girl and I might eat 3 or 4! Sounds great, though I would have to tone down the heat -- maybe an Anaheim chile - I'm a wimp!

Curried Almond Pate...... ? Have you already shared this one and I missed it? Let me know, please! I've got 36 hours until my onion bread is ready. :)

Yes - it's in another thread, tried to find it to link up but no go.

This may be slightly different from the last time:

So about 1-2 cups soaked almonds, whirred up into the food process

stop and add in add 1 clove {pickled} garlic a good amount of curry powder, a wee bit cheyenne pepper and a medium amount of paprika, salt and pepper to taste

with the FP on, add in 1 red pepper that is cut into big chunks. Don't process overmuch once the red pepper is in.

Tastes better after a day in the fridge!
