so I've got this idea to get some rawfoodies together and rawbomb a local restaurant. I'd would call ahead, explain that 10 of us would like to make a reservation for say, Friday night, explain the diet and ask if they could accommodate us. Then we will go in a large group and put our rawness out there. We could do this 1-2x a month and really get the message out. I need to find a way to get raw onto mainstream menus. It's crazy to only eat greens and carrots every time I want to go out.
So do you think it would work? Would you like to be a part of this?

Only 1 person from my area has replied to my posts here, and NO ONE on craigslist.
Crap. I'm gonna have to call my sis. She lived with some vegans that were into high raw and made some raw yummies for the Noho area, but they have since quit doing it-before I even got a chance to try anything!

Might be able to build up your local connections by going to rawfood.meetup.com and/or rawbuddy.com. It is a fantastic idea, so don't give up. ~ cathy
