    Default Ideas for Juice Pulp?

    Hi,

Just wondering what others do with their juice pulp. This morning I made one with carrots, cucumber, beets, apple, and half a pear.

Should I use the pulp for sweet crackers?

Give it nature. If you got a backyard then use it as a fertilizer.

throw in some ground flax seeds and use either sea salt or agave (NOT BOTH!!! ) to taste... mix and spread paste over teflex sheets and dehydrate until the desired crispiness is obtained.

even my two boxers love them!!

Do you have Alissa's book? There is a really good recipe for "Better than Beef" you make using carrot, parsnip, and/or celery root pulp. I made it using carrot pulp and it was great.

    menat and portiz,

    Thanks for your suggestions.

    KellyL,

No, but I'm planning on getting it, a friend of mine has it though and is going to loan it to me to check out so I'll look for it. Thanks for the idea.

    PATH301,

I could but it doesn't look appealing to me at all. Thanks. Think I'll try the flax seed idea with some salt and see how that turns out.

My body needs the extra nutrition of juicing so I don't feel bad that I throw out pulp since it hits the composting bin.

I add some spices and then make fruit leathers with it.

If your using vegetables you may need to make sure if it tastes ok before you dry it.
