Wow, I just found this forum for pets. I hadn't thought to put them on a raw diet. Interesting!! Maybe you guys can help me with something.
I have a little calico cat. She's lived with a chronic skin disease nearly all her life and we're constantly going to the vet for steriod shots and giving her daily medication to post-pone her breakouts. When she does break out she rips her skin apart until she's bleeding all over the place, because it itches so much for her. Basically they told me she's allergic to her own tissue, among other things. :-/ They've put her on a special dry food diet we can only get from the vet, BUT I'm wondering if a raw diet would help her even more?
Has anyone had any experience with this or has heard of a pet being helped by going raw? It breaks my heart to see her suffer constantly.
