I was able to go to the farmers market early today (my cold was terrible when I woke up this morning, so after sleeping in longer I felt better, yet missed school in compensation), meaning I didn't have to get there when barely anything was left! I bought all sorts of things I never had a chance at, like strawberries, cauliflower, avocados, but more excitingly: asparagus!

I never see asparagus organic at WF, so I was thrilled and bought a good-lookin' bunch of it. I tried a piece and it was the same asparagus-y flavor I loved from my SAD days, but it was a tad bitter. Of course it was crunchier than I was used to, but since being raw everything has been crunchier than I was used to.

So, anyone have any great ideas/recipes to doll-up my old love asparagus?
